Why It’s a Good Idea to Quit College and Start a Business – John Chow dot Com

I cannot disagree more with this post by Nathan Lee, who is a guest poster on JohnChow.com. While it is all fine and dandy that Lee was able to build his own online business, he should not be telling kids to drop out and start their own business. A successful business is not guaranteed any more than a job is guaranteed right after college. There are alternatives to going to a private or elite university, and I believe if one has the opportunity and a desire to get a college degree, they should grab it. Education is not something to be looked down upon.
